FRED WALL

Fred Wall has nearly 50 years in the real estate development business.  He has been involved in the development of over 1,400 apartment/condominium units in three states, as well as nearly two million square feet of retail, office, and industrial property. Among his notable real estate projects are the Village Green Apartments in Fridley, Minnesota, a 200-unit family/senior housing development, The Fountain View, a 350-unit adult congregate living facility (ACLF) in West Palm Beach, Florida, the renovation of the 32-story historic Foshay Tower in Minneapolis, Minnesota and most recently, the Stone Arch Apartments in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a 221-unit project with 92 of the units designated for the Section 42 affordable housing program. 

 

In addition to the real estate development business, he and his family own the Highland Bank, with five Twin Cities locations and over $550 million in assets.  


Fred earned an Associate degree in Ornamental Horticulture from the Stockbridge School of the University of Massachusetts in1956, and at the age of 71 in 2003, graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from the College of Continuing Education’s program for Individualized Learning.


Fred is a lifelong learner and finds an adventure in every day. When not at the office, he is seen traveling the globe, looking for new real estate deals, and spending time with his family and friends. Well into his 80’s, he is truly full of life and continues to ignite the passion for creative solutions.
