JOHN K. WALL

John has completed several residential real estate projects including East Side Apartments, Western Row Condominiums and Crocus New Hill in St. Paul, Flour Sack Flats Condominiums, Stone Arch Apartments, Stone Arch Apartments 2, and Mill City Quarter Apartments, in Minneapolis. Through Wall Development Company, John is leading an exciting transformation of a 20-acre mixed use development adjacent to the Minneapolis Campus of the University of Minnesota, in the Towerside Innovation District. This project, called Malcolm Yards, currently contemplates 500,000+ SF of high-tech office & laboratory buildings along with several hundred housing units as well as some retail spaces. Currently, The Market at Malcolm Yards (Urban Food Hall) is under construction, conveniently located at the Prospect Park Light Rail Station.

 

John is a 1984 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is active in a variety of industry-related organizations including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), the MN/SD Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Managers (CCIM). He is responsible for overseeing real estate development and management of The Wall Companies portfolio. John is a licensed real estate broker and is a principal in Republic Management Company and Kenzie Management Group, which manage several area office and retail properties. 


He is also a shareholder and board member of Highland Banks, a $550 million community bank, headquartered in Highland Park, St. Paul. 


He enjoys many outside interests including sailing, skiing, hockey, and traveling. John and his wife, Patricia, have two college age children and two dogs.
